Introduction to Digital Readout:

All our DRO* conform to EIA422 standards implementing full differential encoder connections and can take either linear or angular encoders with each axis being fully configurable. Single-ended encoders can also be connected as the DRO inputs are all balanced mid-rail.  All have selectable resolutions and absolute/incremental, inch/metric and referencing capability.

Available in 2, 3 or 4-axes with both linear and angular encoder inputs the EL700 series utilises a TFT full colour LCD screen to provide maximum information and viewing experience. With full graphical display, dynamic tool position display and context sensitive help this is a true high performance DRO. The EL700 also has basic QA part inspection capability allowing for part dimensions to be verified on machine, including; length, depth, bore diameters, internal and external angles etc.

The EL700 also has a part memory so that programmed patterns can be saved using real names through the in-built soft keypad for later recall. This can save hours or programming time where repeat jobs are required.

The EL700 has market leading functionality including a full custom bolt-hole function that allows any pattern to be programmed by simply typing in the required angles. And like all the other functions the programmed pattern is displayed on screen for verification.

The EL600 is available in 2 or 3-axes versions. It has nearly all the same functionality as the EL700 but has a white on blue mono-LCD screen that provides greater clarity than traditional white and grey LCDs.

Like the EL700 the EL600 implements ‘CapSense’ keypad technology that is incredibly robust. Reverse printed on a 3mm thick poly carbonate panel its keypad legends will never wear off and their are no moving parts to fail.
